Our Story

I didn’t grow up on a coffee farm, I grew up in the chaotic streets of Cairo, Egypt. A world away from Colombia’s mountains, but not from the fire of ambition. Like many immigrants, I came to the U.S. chasing something bigger: freedom, opportunity, the right to create something of my own.

But it wasn’t until I tasted coffee straight from a Colombian farm that something truly clicked. That cup didn’t just taste different, it felt different. Bright. Alive. Pure. It was like shaking hands with coffee for the first time. No middlemen. No noise. Just the land, the bean, and the story behind it. I was hooked.

So, I followed the obsession all the way to Colombia. I traveled deep into the Eje Cafetero (Coffee Axis), met growers, learned the land, and finally found it—a high-altitude finca tucked in the hills of Marsella, kissed by the sun, and with rich soil. It felt like fate.

That’s how Cairombia was born, a collision of Cairo and Colombia, of immigrant grit and coffee soul.

This isn’t just about caffeine. This is about honoring the land, the labor, and the legacy in every cup. Small-batch. Single-origin. It’s coffee the way it should be: bold, clean, and deeply human.

From Cairo to Colombia to your cup—this is my journey. And now, it’s yours too.
